Working Together for a Greener Future and a Preserved Natural Environment

Forestiers du Monde protects biodiversity by creating diverse forests, planting trees, and raising awareness among citizens, especially children, about environmental conservation. Founded in 2003 and based in Dijon, this environmental nongovernmantal organization (ENGO) works to protect nature in France and around the world.

Concrete Actions to Help Forests Grow

Forestiers du Monde promotes biodiversity by creating diverse wooded areas composed of numerous species of trees and shrubs. Its projects can include 40 to 45 plant species to enhance the richness of ecosystems and their resilience to climate change. In Côte-d’Or, the organization supports municipalities, schools, and citizens in their planting projects.

Concrete Actions in France and Internationnaly

Forestiers du Monde carries out numerous projects to promote biodiversity and encourage civic engagement :

  • In Dijon : creation of diverse groves and greening projects, particularly around the “Le Tempo” community education center.
  • Raising awareness among young people : introducing them to biodiversity and the protection of natural areas.
  • Internationnaly : tree planting and environmental education in Senegal, Togo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the Goma region, students were educated on these topics, and 165 saplings were distributed.

Like Bourgogne Escargots, join Forestiers du Monde in our efforts to preserve biodiversity and build a greener future !
